...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 AM EDT THIS MORNING
FOR NORTHEASTERN HARRISON AND NORTHWESTERN TAYLOR COUNTIES...

At 730 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy
rain across the warned area. Between 0.5 and 1.5 inches of rain have
fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible in
the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
         highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
         drainage and low-lying areas.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Shinnston and Enterprise.

This includes Interstate 79 between mile markers 127 and 128.

This includes the following streams and drainages...
  Tenmile Creek, West Fork River, Beards Run, Thomas Fork, Smith Run,
  Plummer Run and Mudlick Run.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Report flooding to the National Weather Service by calling toll free,
800 401 9535, when you can do so safely.

SOUTHEASTERN MARION COUNTY...

The heavy rain has ended. Water levels will begin to recede and flash
flooding is no longer expected to pose a threat. Please continue to
heed remaining road closures.

A Flood Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM EDT Wednesday for
portions of east central Ohio, southwest Pennsylvania, and West
Virginia.
