As much as 1 to 2 inches of rain have fallen in areas from Summerville to the Northwoods Mall with as much as 2 to 4 inches over parts of North Charleston inside I-526 to near Daniel Island. Emergency officials are describing this situation as dangerous and are asking people to stay off the roadways until conditions improve.
