...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 215 PM MST THIS
AFTERNOON FOR YAVAPAI COUNTY...

At 1249 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated that heavy rain had ended
over the far east side of Chino Valley. Between 1 and 2 inches of
rain fell earlier today and flash flooding is ongoing or expected to
begin shortly.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
         flash flooding.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
         normally dry washes, urban areas, highways, streets and
         underpasses.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  East side of Chino Valley.

This includes the following creeks, washes and rivers...
  Granite Creek, Little Chino Valley and Verde River.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Flooding of washes and creeks will occur, some dirt roads will become
muddy and impassable. Paved roads and underpasses could become
flooded as well.

Low water crossings will become dangerous in heavy rain. Do not
attempt to cross flooded roads. Find an alternate route.
