COUNTIES HAS BEEN REPLACED WITH A FLOOD WARNING...

While rapidly flowing water and rapid rises have ended, flooded
roadways remain across the area. Therefore the Flash Flood Warning
has been replaced by a Flood Warning. Please refer to that bulletin
for more information.

A Flood Watch remains in effect until 100 PM CDT Saturday for
portions of Iowa, southeast Minnesota, and Wisconsin.

...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 415 AM CDT EARLY THIS
MORNING FOR VERNON COUNTY...

At 218 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy
rain across the warned area. Between 2.5 and 4.5 inches of rain have
fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible in the
warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
         highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
         drainage and low-lying areas.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Viroqua, Westby, Stoddard, Coon Valley, Springville, Viola,
  Liberty, Readstown, De Soto, Chaseburg, Genoa, Ross, Bud, Sidie
  Hollow County Park, Highway 56 And County N, Runge Hollow, County
  Roads B And Y, Esofea, Purdy and County Roads O And Y.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
