The National Weather Service in Lake Charles has issued a



* Special Marine Warning for...

  Coastal waters from Cameron LA to High Island TX out 20 NM...

  Sabine Lake...



* Until 1215 PM CDT.



* At 1110 AM CDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near High Island

  22, or 10 nm southwest of The Mouth Of The Sabine River. The strong

  thunderstorm was nearly stationary.



  HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater.



  SOURCE...Radar.



  IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and 

           suddenly higher waves.



* Locations impacted include...

  Sabine Pass 10, West Cameron 53, West Cameron 48, The Mouth Of The

  Sabine River, and Port Arthur.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Move to safe harbor immediately as gusty winds and high waves are

expected.



Frequent lightning is occurring with this storm. If caught on the

open water stay below deck if possible, keep away from ungrounded

metal objects.
