...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 145 AM CDT

FOR EASTERN TODD AND SOUTHEASTERN MELLETTE COUNTIES...



At 110 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line

extending from 2 miles west of Wood to 3 miles north of Littleburg,

moving east at 50 mph.



HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and nickel size hail.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.



Locations impacted include...

Mosher, Wood, Haystack Butte, Antelope, Butte Creek, Sicangu Village,

Hidden Timber, Mission, Okreek, Littleburg, and Rosebud Reservation.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 200 AM CDT for south central

South Dakota.

...THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR EASTERN TODD AND SOUTHEASTERN

MELLETTE COUNTIES IS CANCELLED...



The storms which prompted the warning have weakened below severe

limits, and no longer pose an immediate threat to life or property.

Therefore, the warning has been cancelled.  However, gusty winds are

still possible with these thunderstorms.
