OVER ALTAMAHA SOUND...



The areas affected include...

Waters from Savannah GA to Altamaha Sound GA out 20 NM, including 

Grays Reef National Marine Sanctuary...



* At 427 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, 

  capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. These strong 

  thunderstorms were located along a line from 11 NM northwest of 

  Altamaha Sound to over Altamaha Sound, moving northeast at 5 knots.



Locations impacted include...

  Altamaha Sound.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher 

waves, lightning strikes, and heavy downpours. Boaters should seek 

safe harbor immediately until these storms pass.
