* At 1227 AM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing

  waterspouts was located 13 nm east of Miami Beach. The severe

  thunderstorm was nearly stationary.



  HAZARD...Waterspouts.



  SOURCE...Radar.



  IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally 

           hazardous seas.



* The severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly open waters.

  Waters from Deerfield Beach to Ocean Reef FL from 20 to 60 NM

  excluding the territorial waters of Bahamas...



* Until 130 AM EDT.



* At 1258 AM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing

  waterspouts was located 19 nm east of Miami Beach, moving east at

  10 knots.



  HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts 34 knots or greater.



  SOURCE...Radar.



  IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally 

           hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly 

           higher winds and suddenly higher waves.



* The severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly open waters.

Move to safe harbor immediately as gusty winds and high waves are

expected.
