...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM APPROACHING THE WATERS...



The areas affected include...

  Coastal Waters of Northern Puerto Rico out 10 NM...



At 244 PM AST, Doppler radar indicated a strong thunderstorm, capable

of producing winds to around 30 knots. This thunderstorm was located 

over mainly the coastline from Vega Alta to Vega Baja, moving west-

northwestward at 5 to 10 knot.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Intense lightning is occurring with this storm. If caught on the open

water stay below deck if possible, keep away from ungrounded metal

objects.
