...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS OVER THE OUTER GULF WATERS...



Nearly stationary thunderstorms capable of generating 30 knot gusts

continue to wax and wane over the Outer Gulf Waters. These storms are

capable of generating wind gusts near 30 knots, blinding downpours in

heavy rain, and frequent lightning strikes. The thunderstorms are

moving westerly at near 5 knots. 



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Prepare for thunderstorms with wind gusts near 30 knots, locally

rough and confused seas, occasional lightning strikes, and

potentially blinding downpours. Get to a safe port as quickly, and as

safely as possible. When downpours reduce visibility, slow down.
