Dense fog has developed over interior marine waters of the 

central and southern panhandle, particularly in the area of the 

Stikine delta northward to Taku Inlet, with visibilities of 1/4 sm

or less. Dense fog is expected to range from Scull Island within 

Stephens Passage southward to the Stikine Delta and southwestward 

to the vicinity of Level Island in Sumner Strait and near Coffman 

Cove within Clarence Strait through the morning hours. Conditions 

are expected to improve gradually by late morning, but patchy fog 

may linger into the afternoon hours.

...Isolated thunderstorms possible across portions of the coastal

waters south of Point Conception from this afternoon through 

Friday evening...



A moist and unstable air mass associated with rapidly weakening

Tropical Cyclone Priscilla off the Baja California coast will 

bring the potential for thunderstorms to the coastal waters as 

early as this afternoon or this evening. 



The threat for thunderstorms will linger into Friday evening 

across the coastal waters. Any thunderstorm that forms will be 

capable of producing locally gale force winds and rough seas, 

dangerous lightning, and heavy rainfall with reduced visibility, 

and even a waterspout..
