* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...

  Northwestern Hickory County in central Missouri...

  Southwestern Benton County in central Missouri...

  Eastern St. Clair County in west central Missouri...



* Until 100 PM CDT.



* At 1216 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Osceola, or

  14 miles northeast of El Dorado Springs, moving northeast at 40

  mph.



  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.



  SOURCE...Radar indicated.



  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage 

           to roofs, siding, and trees.



* Locations impacted include...

  Truman Lake, Warsaw, Osceola, Cross Timbers, Roscoe, Vista,

  Gerster, Quincy, Harper, Fristoe, Iconium, Monegaw Springs, and

  Whitakerville.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a

building.



If on or near Truman Lake, get away from the water and move indoors 

or inside a vehicle. Remember, lightning can strike out to 15 miles 

from the parent thunderstorm. If you can hear thunder, you are close 

enough to be struck by lightning. Move to safe shelter now!  Do not 

be caught on the water in a thunderstorm.

At 1237 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 8 miles east of

Osceola, or 13 miles northwest of Hermitage, moving east at 40 mph.



HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
