The areas affected include...

  Atlantic Waters of Puerto Rico AND USVI from 10 NM to 19.5N...

  Mona Passage Southward to 17N...



At 417 PM AST, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable 

of producing winds to around 30 knots. These thunderstorms were 

located over mainly areas of the Mona Passge and the SW Offshore 

Atlantic Waters, moving west at 20 knots.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher

waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor

immediately until these storms pass.
