Significant southwesterly swell is approaching the coast through

Monday night. The direction and energy associated with this wave

group could bring higher than expected wave heights to Cross 

Sound, Lisianski Strait, Inian Passes, and western Icy Strait. 

Current forecast highlights west southwest swell of 15 to 22 ft at

15 to 18 seconds developing along Yakobi Island and Cape Spencer

Monday night. Caution is advised for mariners transiting Cross 

Sound and western Icy Strait.
