Mona Passage Southward to 17N...... At 754 PM AST, Doppler radar indicated showers and thunderstorms, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. This activity is associated with a Tropical Wave (AL98), which is being monitored by the National Hurricane Center. It is moving westward south of Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands tonight. These showers and thunderstorms are moving west to northwest across the Caribbean Waters to the Mona Passage at 15 to 20 knots. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
