* At 304 AM PDT, Doppler radar indicated a strong thunderstorm, 

  capable of producing winds to around 30 knots and small hail. This 

  strong thunderstorm was located near Point Pinos, moving northwest 

  at 25 knots.



Locations impacted include...

  Mainly open waters of Monterey Bay, Coastal Waters from Pigeon 

  Point to Point Pinos California out to 10 NM and Waters from 

  Pigeon Point to Point Pinos 10-60 NM.

The areas affected include...



  Fire Island Inlet to Montauk Point NY out 40 NM...



At 641 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated a thunderstorm, capable of 

producing winds to around 30 knots. This thunderstorm was located 20 

nm southeast of Moriches Inlet, moving northeast at 55 knots.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher

waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor

immediately until this storm passes.
