...WATERSPOUTS POSSIBLE OVER LAKE ONTARIO THIS MORNING...



Lake effect rain and a few thunderstorms will continue over Lake 

Ontario this morning. Waterspouts may be embedded within the lake 

effect rain at times. Waterspouts can produce localized higher

winds and waves and can easily overturn small vessels.



Waterspouts can develop with little to no advance warning. If a 

waterspout is spotted seek safe harbor immediately.



Conditions will remain favorable for waterspouts on Lake Ontario 

into Friday.
