At 1214 AM EST, a severe thunderstorm was located 13 miles west of

Brevard, or 6 miles southwest of Black Balsam Area, moving east at 40

mph.



HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Expect damage to trees and power lines.



Locations impacted include...

Brevard, Cullowhee, Rosman, Lake Toxaway, Graveyard Fields, Lake

Glenville, Looking Glass, Dupont State Forest, Gorges State Park, and

Black Balsam Area.
