through 8 AM PST Sunday over nearshore waters. 



Mariners should be prepared for abrupt changes in visibility. 

Reduce speeds and be on the lookout for exposed rocks and other 

vessels, including large ships in shipping lanes. Use radar or GPS

navigation if available, and consider remaining in harbor if such

equipment is unavailable.

At 226 AM EST, strong thunderstorms were located along a line

extending from near The Center Of The Albemarle Sound to 9 nm

northeast of The Mouth Of The Perquimans River, moving east at 45

knots.



HAZARD...Wind gusts to 40 knots and small hail.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and 

         suddenly higher waves.



Locations impacted include...

Duck, Kitty Hawk, Kill Devil Hills, The Mouth Of The Perquimans

River, and The Center Of The Albemarle Sound.
