...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS OVER THE WATERS...



The areas affected include...

  Coastal Waters of Southern Puerto Rico...



At 642 AM AST, Doppler radar indicated a line of thunderstorms, 

capable of producing winds to around 35 knots. These thunderstorms 

were located along a line moving northwest at 20 knots approaching 

quickly to the coast of Guanica, Lajas, Cabo Rojo as well as 

Salinas, Guayama Santa Isabel and Arroyo.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher

waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor

immediately until these storms pass.
