* Snow Squall Warning for...

  Northeastern Pine County in east central Minnesota...

  Southwestern Carlton County in northeastern Minnesota...



* Until 330 PM CST.



* At 259 PM CST, a dangerous snow squall was located near Kettle

  River, or 26 miles southwest of Cloquet, moving southeast at 25

  mph.



  HAZARD...Intense bursts of heavy snow. Gusty winds leading to 

           blowing snow and rapidly falling visibility. Wind gusts 

           up to 20 mph.



  SOURCE...Radar and webcams.



  IMPACT...Travel will become difficult and potentially dangerous 

           within minutes.



Locations impacted include...

Willow River, Askov, Rutledge, Kettle River, Bruno, Moose Lake State

Park, Duxbury, Banning State Park, Sturgeon Lake, Kerrick, Denham,

and Duquette.

A strong cold front is moving southeast across the Gulf Basin and 

will reach our outer Gulf waters from near L Tower within the next 

1 to 2 hours. Mariners can expect a sharp and rapid freshening of 

breezes from the northwest. Current winds speeds across the outer 

Gulf waters are generally 5 knots or less. Last hour, a buoy located 

along the Florida West Shelf, located about 60 NM northwest of L 

Tower, registered a sustained wind of 25 knots, gusting near 30 

knots.

  mph.

           blowing snow and rapidly falling visibility. Wind gusts 

           up to 20 mph.

  IMPACT...Travel will become difficult and potentially dangerous
