* Special Marine Warning for...

  Point Piedras Blancas to Point Sal from 10 to 60 NM...

  Point Piedras Blancas to Point Sal westward out to 10 NM...

  Waters from Pt. Sal to Santa Cruz Island CA and westward 60 nm

  including San Miguel and Santa Rosa Islands...



* Until 400 AM PST.



* At 311 AM PST, showers capable of producing waterspouts were

  located along a line extending from 35 nm northeast of Cape San

  Martin to 18 nm west of Point Sal, moving northeast at 35 knots.



  HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts 34 knots or greater.



  SOURCE...Radar.



  IMPACT...Waterspouts can create locally hazardous seas. Small 

           craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and 

           suddenly higher waves.



* Locations impacted include...

  Point Sal...Port San Luis...and Morro Bay.
