The National Weather Service in Wilmington has issued a



* Snow Squall Warning for...

  Northeastern Greene County in west central Ohio...

  Southern Clark County in west central Ohio...

  Southern Madison County in central Ohio...



* Until 1115 PM EST.



* At 1035 PM EST, a dangerous snow squall was located along a line

  extending from near New Carlisle to near Springfield to 7 miles

  north of South Charleston, moving southeast at 30 mph.



  HAZARD...Intense bursts of heavy snow. Gusty winds leading to 

           blowing snow and rapidly falling visibility. Wind gusts 

           up to 35 mph.



  SOURCE...Radar indicated.



  IMPACT...Travel will become difficult and potentially dangerous 

           within minutes.



* This includes I-70 in Ohio between mile markers 48 and 68.

 

Locations impacted include...

Springfield, London, New Carlisle, Enon, South Charleston, Harmony,

Lisbon, Brighton, South Vienna, South Solon, Midway, Donnelsville,

Newport, Springfield Municipal Airport, Hustead, Selma, Snyderville,

Pitchin, Gladstone, and Plattsburg.

extending from near Enon to near South Charleston to near London,

moving southeast at 30 mph.



HAZARD...Intense bursts of heavy snow. Gusty winds leading to 

         blowing snow and rapidly falling visibility. Wind gusts up 

         to 35 mph.
