* Snow Squall Warning for...

  Gallia County in southeastern Ohio...

  Jackson County in southeastern Ohio...

  North central Lawrence County in southeastern Ohio...

  Mason County in western West Virginia...

  Northern Putnam County in western West Virginia...

  Northern Kanawha County in central West Virginia...

  Southwestern Roane County in central West Virginia...

  Southern Jackson County in northwestern West Virginia...



* Until 745 AM EST.



* At 646 AM EST, a dangerous snow squall was located near Gallipolis,

  moving east at 30 mph.



  HAZARD...Intense bursts of heavy snow. Gusty winds leading to 

           blowing snow and visibility rapidly falling to less than 

           one-quarter mile. Wind gusts up to 35 mph.



  SOURCE...Radar and webcams.



  IMPACT...Travel will become difficult and potentially dangerous 

           within minutes.



This includes the following highways...

 Interstate 79 between mile markers 2 and 28.

 Interstate 77 in West Virginia between mile markers 105 and 135.



This snow squall will be near...

  Buffalo around 655 AM EST.

  Winfield around 715 AM EST.

  Kenna around 730 AM EST.



Other locations impacted by this snow squall include Vinton, Statts

Mills, Given, Adamsville, Coalton, Kentuck, Liberty, Ashton, Left

Hand, and Petersburg.
