Fog has lifted above sea level in some areas this evening. 

However, remaining patchy dense fog currently over the waters 

should continue into tonight. Visibility reduced to 1 nautical 

mile or less at times, mainly over outer coastal waters. The fog 

will eventually lift and clear out by mid- late Wednesday morning.



Mariners should be prepared for abrupt changes in visibility.

Reduce speeds and be on the lookout for exposed rocks and other

vessels, including large ships in shipping lanes. Use radar or GPS

navigation if available, and consider remaining in harbor if such

equipment is unavailable...
