  Waters from High Island to Freeport TX from 20 to 60 NM...



At 1113 PM CST, coastal weather stations winds to around 30 knots, 

produced by a lone of strong thunderstorms. These thunderstorms were 

located along a line extending from near High Island 63 to near 

Bastrop Bay to 31 nm north of Port Lavaca, moving southeast at 20 

knots.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher

waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor

immediately until these storms pass.



These strong thunderstorms will likely produce winds to around 30

knots, and could pose a serious hazard for boaters. A special marine 

warning may be required if these storms begin producing stronger 

winds. Boaters should consider heading for shore before these strong 

thunderstorms arrive.
