The National Weather Service in Cheyenne has issued a



* Snow Squall Warning for...

  East central Carbon County in south central Wyoming...

  Southern Albany County in southeastern Wyoming...

  Northwestern Laramie County in southeastern Wyoming...

  Southwestern Platte County in southeastern Wyoming...



* Until 815 PM MST.



* At 747 PM MST, a dangerous snow squall was located near Rock River,

  or 28 miles northwest of Laramie, moving east at 20 mph.



  HAZARD...Intense bursts of heavy snow. Gusty winds leading to 

           blowing snow and visibility rapidly falling to less than 

           one-quarter mile. Wind gusts up to 35 mph.



  SOURCE...Radar indicated.



  IMPACT...Travel will become difficult and potentially dangerous 

           within minutes.



This includes Interstate 80 in Wyoming between mile markers 271 and

324.

Laramie, West Laramie, Rock River, Antelope Buttes, Nine Mile, Rogers

Canyon, Bosler, Brooklyn Lake Campground, McFadden, Nash Fork

Campground, Wheatland Reservoir Number 3, Laramie Regional Airport,

The Buttes, Arlington, Hutton Lake, Tie City Campground, Brooklyn

Lake, Sugar Loaf Campground, Libby Creek Campground, and University

Of Wyoming War Memorial Stadium.

Slow Down! Rapid changes in visibility and road conditions are

expected with this dangerous snow squall. Be alert for sudden

whiteout conditions.
