A smaller system rotating around the parent storm force low is 

moving into Chichagof Island, which is bringing shifting winds to 

Icy Strait and Cross Sound. While wind speeds are slightly less than 

forecasted, mariners should be ready for gusty 30 to 40 knot winds 

from the southwest near 12 pm to 3 pm Thursday afternoon, especially 

west of Point Adolphus.
