The National Weather Service in Miami has issued a



* Special Marine Warning for...

  Coastal waters from Deerfield Beach to Ocean Reef FL out 20 NM...



* Until 100 PM EST.



* At 1222 PM EST, a shower producing waterspouts was located 10 nm

  east of Sunny Isles. The shower was nearly stationary.



  HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts 34 knots or greater.



  SOURCE...Off-duty NWS meteorologist.



  IMPACT...Waterspouts can create locally hazardous seas. Small 

           craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and 

           suddenly higher waves.



* The shower will remain over mainly open waters.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Move to safe harbor until hazardous weather passes.



Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally hazardous

seas. Seek safe harbor immediately.
