The storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe

limits, and no longer poses an immediate threat to life or property.

Therefore, the warning has been cancelled.  However, small hail and

gusty winds are still possible with this thunderstorm.

...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 215 PM HST THIS 

AFTERNOON FOR THE ISLAND OF OAHU IN HONOLULU COUNTY...



At 127 PM HST, radar indicates that heavy rain has ended over Oahu. 

However, stream gauges still indicate ongoing rises in the 

Kaukonahua Stream in Waialua and Wahiawa Reservoir.



HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy rain.



SOURCE...Radar and automated gauges.



IMPACT...Flooding in drainages, streams, rivers, roads,

         properties, and other low-lying areas. Public road

         closures possible in some areas. Landslides are possible

         in steep terrain.



Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...

  Waikane, Waiahole, Kaaawa, Punaluu, Kahaluu, Hauula, Ahuimanu, 

  Wahiawa, Mililani, Laie, Kahuku, Kaneohe, Kaneohe Marine Base, 

  Kalihi, Maunawili, Haleiwa, Kailua, Manoa, Palolo and Waimanalo.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Stay away from streams, rivers, drainage ditches, and culverts, even 

if they are currently dry.
