...SURGES IN NORTH FACING HARBORS DEVELOPING THIS AFTERNOON...



A north-northeast swell from 010 to 030 degrees will build today

and peak tonight and Tuesday. The large swell will produce 

hazardous conditions and heavy surges in north facing harbors, 

mainly in Hilo and Kahului. Mariners using these harbors should 

exercise caution when entering or leaving port.
