...HEAVY SURGES IN NORTH FACING HARBORS THROUGH TUESDAY...



A north-northeast swell from 010 to 030 degrees will peak tonight

and early Tuesday, then begin a slow decline late Tuesday. The 

large swell will produce hazardous conditions with large breaking

waves at harbor entrances and heavy surges in north facing 

harbors, mainly in Hilo and Kahului. Mariners using these harbors 

should exercise caution when entering or leaving port.
