Low stratus continues to develop across the region tonight accompanied by fog in some locations. Patchy dense fog will persist through the overnight hours and into Saturday morning. Observations from the Charleston Harbor Pilot Office as well as local webcams show that visibilities have dropped to less than a mile at times. Visibilities tonight could drop to as low as 1/2 to 3/4 of a mile at times. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Mariners are urged to navigate with extreme care.
