The large fog bank that was impacting Matagorda Bay last night and

very early this morning has pushed northward and away from the

bay. However, patchy areas of dense fog will continue to impact 

the region in the vicinity of Matagorda Bay through the rest of

the morning. Dense fog patches are more numerous in the Gulf 

waters offshore of Matagorda, where an advisory remains in effect.
