* At 939 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Shady, or 9

  miles southeast of Mena, moving east at 50 mph.



  HAZARD...Quarter size hail.

CENTRAL POLK AND CENTRAL MONTGOMERY COUNTIES IS CANCELLED...



The storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe

limits, and no longer poses an immediate threat to life or property.

Therefore, the warning has been cancelled.  However small hail is

still possible with this thunderstorm.



A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 300 PM CDT for

central and western Arkansas.
