At 1139 PM HST, radar and rain gauges indicated heavy rain falling over the northern half of Oahu. Rain was falling at a rate of 1 to 3 inches per hour. Flash flooding is ongoing potentially making roadways impassable. Flooding conditions will rapidly worsen as additional heavy rain continues to fall over the next hour. Oahu Emergency Management officials are reporting streams and drainages near Waialua are rapidly filling up with water. HAZARD...Heavy rain producing life threatening flash flooding.
