...FLASH FLOOD WARNING IS CANCELLED FOR MOST OF THE ISLAND OF OAHU 

IN HONOLULU COUNTY WITH THE EXCEPTION OF WAIALUA AND HALEIWA AS WELL 

AS AREAS NEAR THE WAHIAWA DAM...



The heavy rain has ended across Oahu, and flooding is not occurring 

across most windward, leeward, and urban Honolulu areas. A separate 

Flash Flood Warning remains in effect for areas near and downstream 

of the Wahiawa Dam, especially in the Waialua and Haleiwa areas.



A Flood Watch remains in effect until 600 PM HST Sunday for all 

Hawaiian Islands.

A Marine Weather Statement has been issued for the following areas...

At 1236 PM AKDT, satellite imagery indicated strong thunderstorms, 

capable of producing lightning and gusty winds to around 30 to 40 

knots. These thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 

28 nm northwest of Forrester Island to 18 nm southwest of Cape 

Muzon, moving north at 45 knots.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 to 40 knots, locally 

higher waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor 

immediately until these storms pass.

* Until 1230 PM HST.



* At 1052 AM HST, strong thunderstorms were located along a line

  extending from 6 nm northwest of FAD Buoy MC to 32 nm southeast of

  FAD Buoy P, moving northeast at 25 knots.



  HAZARD...Wind gusts to 40 knots.



  SOURCE...Radar.



  IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and 

           suddenly higher waves.



* Locations impacted include...

  Kalaupapa, Cape Halawa, Shipwreck Beach, FAD Buoy K, Maliko Boat

  Ramp, Kahului Harbor, FAD Buoy N, and FAD Buoy Q.
