...SURGES IN NORTH FACING HARBORS TONIGHT THROUGH MONDAY...



A north northeast swell (20 degrees) produced by a storm in the 

North Pacific will build tonight into Monday and produce surges 

in north facing harbors, including Hilo and Kahului harbors. The 

swell will also produce breaking waves near the harbor entrances. 

Mariners using these harbors should exercise caution when entering

or leaving port and when mooring or launching vessels.
