The National Weather Service in League City has issued a



* Tornado Warning for...

  Southeastern Burleson County in southeastern Texas...

  Northwestern Washington County in southeastern Texas...



* Until 1245 PM CDT.



* At 1209 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a

  tornado was located over Lake Somerville Dam, or 13 miles northwest

  of Brenham, moving east at 20 mph.



  HAZARD...Tornado and quarter size hail.



  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.



  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 

           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 

           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 

           damage is likely.



* This dangerous storm will be near...

  Somerville and Lake Somerville Dam around 1215 PM CDT.

TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest

floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a

mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter

and protect yourself from flying debris.

of producing winds to around 30 knots. This thunderstorm was located

over Lake Harbor, moving northwest at 20 knots.

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots and locally higher

waves. Boaters should seek safe harbor immediately until this storm
