At 1037 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated a line of showers and 

thunderstorms, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. These 

showers and thunderstorms were located 13 nm northeast of South 

Padre Island, moving northwest at 20 knots.



The showers and thunderstorms will remain over mainly open waters.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher

waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor

immediately until this storm passes.
