  Southwestern Clinton County in south central Illinois...

  Northwestern Washington County in south central Illinois...

  Eastern Saint Clair County in southwestern Illinois...



* Until 330 PM CDT.



* At 248 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Freeburg,

  moving east at 40 mph.



  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.



  SOURCE...Radar indicated.



  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to

           roofs, siding, and trees.



* Locations impacted include...

  Smithton, Swansea, Belleville, Freeburg, Shiloh, New Athens, Scott

  AFB, Fayetteville, Mascoutah, St. Libory, New Baden, New Memphis,

  Johannisburg, Albers, Damiansville, Lively Grove, Okawville,

  Germantown and Bartelso.



This includes the following State Parks...

Peabody-River King State Fish and Wildlife Area.



This includes Interstate 64 in Illinois between exits 23 and 41.

windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and large

hail.
