* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...

  Northern Marengo County in southwestern Alabama...

  South central Sumter County in west central Alabama...



* Until 245 PM CDT.



* At 156 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Jefferson, or

  12 miles west of Linden, moving east at 35 mph.



  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.



  SOURCE...Radar indicated.



  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage 

           to roofs, siding, and trees.



* Locations impacted include...

  Demopolis, Linden, Uniontown, Jefferson, Myrtlewood, Faunsdale,

  Dayton, Pin Hook, Chickasaw State Park, U.S. 80 and AL 28, Old

  Spring Hill, Whitfield, Demopolis Municipal Airport, and Oakchia.
