* Until 1215 PM EDT.



* At 1020 AM EDT, a thunderstorm capable of producing waterspouts 

  was located 10 nm southwest of Bone Wreck, moving east at 15 knots.



  HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts 34 knots or greater.



  SOURCE...Radar.



  IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally 

           hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly 

           higher winds and suddenly higher waves.



* The severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly open waters.

The National Weather Service in Jackson has issued a



* Flash Flood Warning for...

  Central Pike County in southeastern Kentucky...



* Until 130 PM EDT.



* At 1026 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing 

  heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain 

  have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible 

  in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin 

  shortly.



  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.



  SOURCE...Radar.



  IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban

           areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as

           other poor drainage and low-lying areas.



* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...

  Pikeville, Coal Run Village, Mcandrews, Kimper, Biggs, Phyllis, 

  Coleman, Fedscreek, Phelps, Board Tree, Jamboree, Raccoon, Meta, 

  Paw Paw, Majestic, Zebulon, Argo, Woodman and Coal Run.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 

deaths occur in vehicles.
