* Special Marine Warning for...

  Nearshore and Open waters from Willowick OH to Ripley NY...



* Until 915 AM EDT.



* At 748 AM EDT, severe thunderstorms producing waterspouts were

  located along a line extending from 17 nm north of Conneaut to 24

  nm north of Fairport Harbor, moving east at 25 knots.



  HAZARD...Waterspouts.



  SOURCE...Public.



  IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally 

           hazardous seas.



* Locations impacted include...

  Erie, Geneva-On-The-Lake, Ashtabula, and Conneaut.

Thunderstorms can produce sudden waterspouts. Waterspouts can easily
