...SHOWERS OVER THE WATERS...



The areas affected include...

  Coastal waters from Altamaha Sound to Fernandina Beach FL out 20 

  NM...



At 1004 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated showers, capable of 

producing winds to around 30 knots and waterspouts. These showers 

were located along a line extending from near Altamaha Sound to 9 nm 

north of Amelia City. The showers were nearly stationary.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Waterspouts are possible with this activity. If a waterspout occurs,

move your boat away from it. Waterspouts can develop rapidly and

produce winds and seas that are dangerous for vessels and everyone

onboard.

  Nearshore and Open Waters from South Haven to Grand Haven MI...



At 1044 AM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line

extending from 8 nm west of Grand Haven Light to 28 nm east of Wind

Pt., moving southeast at 30 knots.



HAZARD...Wind gusts to 40 knots and small hail.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and 

         suddenly higher waves.



Locations impacted include...

Saugatuck Pier Heads, Port Sheldon Harbor, and Holland Light.
