The National Weather Service in Charleston has issued a



* Special Marine Warning for...

  Waters from Edisto Beach SC to Savannah GA out 60 NM...



* Until 1045 AM EDT.



* At 1007 AM EDT, showers producing waterspouts were located along a

  line from near Beaufort 45 Feet Reef to 8 NM south of Betsy Ross

  Reef, moving southwest at 10 knots.



  HAZARD...Waterspouts.



  SOURCE...Emergency management reported. At 1003 AM, Hilton Head

           Emergency Management relayed a video of a large waterspout

           just offshore of Hilton Head. While this waterspout has

           dissipated, additional waterspouts are possible.



  IMPACT...Waterspouts can create locally hazardous seas.



* Locations impacted include...

  Hilton Head Reef, Beaufort 45 Feet Reef, General Gordon, Betsy Ross

  Reef, Gaskins Bank Wreck, Gaskin Banks, Fish America, Whitewater

  Reef and Calibogue Sound.
