...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM OVER THE WATERS...



The areas affected include...

Hawk Channel and Straits of Florida from west end of Seven Mile

Bridge to Halfmoon Shoal out 20 nm...



At 317 PM EDT, National Weather Service meteorologists detected a a

strong thunderstorm, capable of producing wind gusts near 30 knots.

This thunderstorm was located over Key West Sea Bouy, moving

southwest at 15 knots.



Locations that will be affected include...

Joe's Tug, Eastern Dry Rocks, Western Dry Rocks, Sand Key Light, and

Key West Sea Bouy.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Prepare for thunderstorms with wind gusts near 30 knots, locally

rough and confused seas, occasional lightning strikes, and

potentially blinding downpours. Get to a safe port as quickly, and as

safely as possible. When downpours reduce visibility, slow down.
