* At 631 PM AST, Doppler radar indicated a strong thunderstorm,

  capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. This strong

  thunderstorm was around 17 nmi NNW of San Juan to 40 nmi NNW of San

  Juan, moving north at 10 knots.



Locations impacted include...

  Mainly open waters of Atlantic Waters of Puerto Rico and USVI from

  10 NM to 19.5N.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Report severe weather to the Coast Guard or nearest law enforcement

agency. They will relay your report to the National Weather Service

office.



Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher

waves, lightning strikes, and heavy downpours. Boaters should seek

* At 452 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 5 miles northwest

  of Windmill, moving east at 15 mph.



  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
