A Marine Weather Statement has been issued for the following areas...

Coastal waters from Murrells Inlet to South Santee River SC out 20

NM...



* At 1100 PM UTC, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms,

  capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. These strong

  thunderstorms were located along a line from near North Inlet Reef

  to 6 NM west of South Santee River Entrance, moving east at 15

  knots.



Locations impacted include...

  Georgetown Reef, Georgetown Nearshore Wreck, Winyah Bay Sea Buoy,

  North Inlet Reef and East Bank Buoy.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Move to safe harbor until hazardous weather passes. If caught on the

open water, prepare for deteriorating conditions.
