...A TORNADO WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 500 AM CDT FOR
NORTHEASTERN JACKSON COUNTY...

At 431 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located over Hurley, or 14 miles north of Escatawpa, moving
northeast at 15 mph.

HAZARD...TORNADO.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Expect damage to mobile homes, roofs, and vehicles.

This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
northeastern Jackson County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest
floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a
mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter
and protect yourself from flying debris.

Tornadoes are extremely difficult to see and confirm at night. Do not

At 434 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 5 miles east of Big Point to 6 miles north of Alabama
Port, moving north at 35 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Midtown Mobile, Downtown Mobile, Tillmans Corner, Theodore, Tanner
Williams, I10 And I65, and Mobile Regional Airport.
